2 screws below the flap.
Both sets of screws holding the panels off-center.

A screw under the flap holds the wire cantle attachment.

Remove the screw to drop the panels.

The wire around the top of the panels is the wire cantle attachment.
While saddle was open, fitter worked on evening out the stuffing so the panels matched more closely.
|
Here you can see one side of the wire.
|
The wire hooks over plastic rims, which also hold the screws used to secure the wire ends.
|
See the chalk marks: the rims are uneven with respect to the front of the tree.

Stuffing was adjusted, panels were replaced. Center of panels required new screw-holes in order to
replace the screws, so that the panels would remain centered.
It is important to remember that when
replacing the panels on a Wintec with easy-change gullet, the points must go INSIDE the points-pockets
of the panels. Also, check the "gullet" occasionally to be sure the screws have not worked themselves
loose. A loose gullet makes the saddle acts like it has a broken tree.

After: panels are more centered, more evenly stuffed.
