Looks like 615 JL V. Pell

Tree without pressure

Tree with pressure:
The tree flexes quite a lot.

So I removed the panels (wool stuffed underside) to look at the tree.

The tree is not like other trees I've seen in older Kieffers. It's open across the middle; the seat is not solid. The seat is supported by the grey webbing held on by rawhide strips. To get to the tree itself I'd have to cut the lacing and remove it. I have not yet done this.

This is not the Aspen. This is just an example of the synthetic tree that I was expecting to see.
