Hi all
My problem is I have an elderly Andalusian mare with a very long stride and when she is asked to walk somewhere new she begins to walk ahead of me.
I tell her to slow and give her halter a tug and then ask her to step back and when she has done that I lead her on again, but it makes travelling rather slow! Is this the right way to deal with this problem as there is a slight improvement or is there a better way to deal with her?
I really enjoyed reading this site-I love the saddle pictures it's really helped me understand so much more about the differences in saddles! Thanks v.much
